CR YOU WANT: Any! Midnight's lost a few close friends this month, so while he won't out and say anything about it, he is the sort who really thrives on being around other people and will seek out new friends, drinking partners, and people to check on. He's got plenty of people looking out for his welfare now, so I'm mostly looking for people to make his life interesting! (Or, as usual, he'd like to make the lives of others interesting. Midnight is cringe, but he is free.)
CR YOU DON'T WANT: Nothing in particular, but I will say that he still has trouble with people who are too familiar with him from the get-go (as friendly as Midnight is, he's much more comfortable with keeping a certain distance.) If you feel like your character fits this category, but would like to try starting them both off on the right foot, please let me know! This is not CR I'd reject, but it will take a bit of work so he doesn't crawl away from the conversation uncomfortably.
(Also, uh, if your character would like to bone Midnight, please don't hesitate to engage, but if it gets serious, he has somehow gotten himself into a hilariously codependent polycule and your character will have to deal with him having two boyfriends and his boyfriends having boyfriends on top of whatever he has with them. sorry, i don't know how this happened either,)

MY DUDES, THE HOST CLUB IS REAL
The information post for it is not finished, but Seventh Hell Host Club has unofficially opened its doors to friends, patrons, and curious passerby who are wondering what is happening that weirdly lively bar in District 1. Please feel free to handwave threads located at the club or say that your character has heard of it via word of mouth!
I am planning on throwing a New Years' Eve party for Seventh Hell's grand opening! I'll try to have a network announcement for that up in the next week, and a log for it by the end of this month's game plot. It will be a truly informal event, so I can't promise that it will be as lavish as prom or some of the other player-run parties, but the invitation will be open, there will be drinks, and I'm trying to figure out how to rig a karaoke machine in this setting, so hopefully that + the silly host rooms should make for a pretty ok party.
I am currently compiling the list of people who have been in contact about getting their character involved. If I missed your character, please let me know, my notes are a mess and I promise I literally just can't find confirmation for your character. Please note that I WILL be reaching out to the hosts specifically for some information for their blurbs, but otherwise, please assume that as of mid-December, any character mentioned here has had their team onboarding and started their first couple of weeks of work at the bar! Feel free to handwave any relevant CR, or hit me up if you'd like to thread out a pre-grand opening interaction. Every employee personally met Midnight (and Kaveh, probably) for job training, so feel free to ask for a thread for that!

I probably need help trying to make sure our CR is in order and progressing in a direction we are both enjoying, so if you would like any specific events or interactions, PLEASE let me know so I can keep it on my radar! Due to my schedule and some RL factors, it's very easy for me to slip off the radar for a week every now and then, so I like to have a game plan so I can keep CR going in between unexpected interruptions in tagging speed.

CR YOU WANT: Friends, enemies, frenemies. I've always loved the CR I've gained in this game and I am always excited to have more, that is a promise and a threat. Daan is off the table as far as romance goes. Not that you can't, like, try but he's extremely and desperately committed to Vergilius to the point that it's kind of embarrassing.

- Currently, I have plans for Daan to start training Yi Sang into an apprentice eventually since he recognizes that he really needs more help in the clinic if y'all keep beating each other up. ABOUT YOU: I started roleplaying at the old beseen chats but really got into it on LJ at games like Ataraxion, God and Man (also God Vs Man), Polychromatic, Paradisa and others. I dropped out of games entirely for about a decade and only just jumped into this one in September, so I'm still trying to get back into the groove of things. CST time zone and I will backtag until the end of time if you'll allow me.

ETHAN CHANDLER
AGE: 35
CANON: Penny Dreadful
CANON POINT: Several months post series. Why? Because the biggest crime in that show, aside from season 3, is the fact that they cut Ethan's hair. Don't judge me.
ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: Mr. Chandler here is an angsty sharpshooter who acts tough, cocky and distant but is really kind on the inside. Saying he has been through some truly messed up things is an understatement and they're graphic so I'm not going to list them here. Either way! His carefully crafted stage persona masks his internal suffering, which he also tries to tame through drinking, and he is not the type of person who would let just anyone in. While not typically wearing his heart on his sleeve, though he can, it's easy enough to read him if you look at his eyes. He is a southern gentleman through and through, complete with the drawl, flirtations and outfit to match what one might expect a gunslinger from the west to wear. He's intolerant of those who step on the backs of people weaker than them, and it is one of the quickest ways for him to lose his temper.
His "secret" isn't a secret anymore, he outed himself as a werewolf after the attack on the night of the 27th. As a werewolf, Ethan loses all reason and essentially blacks out, giving full control to the wolf. Friends become foes and he'll do whatever he can to kill or maim whoever he encounters unless that person happens to be Vanessa Ives.

CR YOU WANT: I'm going to be one of those and say I'm up for any and all CR, I don't have any specifics in mind. I've slowly been trying to build up his core CR group for the last month and a half so I'm aiming to start jumping on someone new, especially since some of his CR has left the game. Ethan is the type of person who looks out for people. He's incredibly annoyed that this place is holding the teenagers "hostage" so, whether they like it or not, he will big brother at them if they do anything especially stupid. Then play the I'm older than you so zip it card if they try to throw it back on him. Hypocrite.
I'd also kill for him to meet another werewolf because he would thoroughly pick their brains in an attempt to figure out how he might control himself during the full moon. ( Bonus points if it's Twilight so he can comment on shirtless werewolves and simultaneously be horrified by sparkly vampires.)
Looking at you, Lestat.CR YOU DON'T WANT: I'll take the good, the bad and the ugly. Come at me. He tends to fall back on snark when confronted with a particularly high and mighty type.
PLOTTING & PLANS: The only things worth noting are the fact that he'll be working security at the Host Club and he's going to be working with various people to find a more permanent method of keeping the wolf contained during the full moon. As he attacked people on the 27th, he's not going to be as eager to approach anyone new for a bit -- though he will inform them of his affliction if they approach him. Maybe he should wear one of those revised "kick me" signs or have a plaque on his door that reads -- Beware of Werewolf.
HANDWAVED CR: Love it! Ethan helps out at the Welcome Diner occasionally and will be at the Host Club making sure no one gets handsy with the hosts/hostesses or rowdy with the staff. Aside from that he's begun haunting the Bookstore, patrols the streets at night (except during the full moon) and can usually be found writing notes in his journal in the Graveyard or any other quiet place. As of December, he'll also be partaking in Daan's first aid classes.

With his adventures temporarily at an end on account of the universe successfully being saved, he's now trying to figure out what normal people do with the rest of their lives. To begin with, he's become a car owner and recently worked at one of the food stations at prom.

Thancred right now is on a trajectory of figuring out what his life and future look like when the world isn't right on the verge of a catastrophic apocalypse and he and his friends aren't needed to go Save Everyone And Everything™, which is lending itself to a fair amount of reflection about who he is without his job and responsibilities that have basically defined his life up until this point.
Accordingly, I would love to cultivate CR with:
• Others who've been through similarly traumatic experiences!
• People who might do well with having a kind of big-brother protector type around, and who he in return could eventually be a little protective and found-family about.
• People who will push him to try new things and opportunities! Area man needs to be dragged onto vacation kicking and screaming, etc.

Truth be told, I'm not really sure what I'm doing with Ghost at the moment. She's had the opportunity to meet a bunch of people as a result of prom, though, and I'd definitely like to keep following up on that on the go-forward! I'd also really like to have the opportunity to have her talk more about her canon and some of the things that happened to her ten years ago, but it's one of those things that she's really not inclined to talk much about so getting her to the point where she'll bring it up is tricky, to say the least.

• Like with Thancred, I'm hoping to use the art gallery, whatever December's plot ends up being, and/or Daan's player plot as a means of digging into those backstory elements I mentioned above, but I haven't quite figured out how to do it yet.
• I'm hoping to unlock her powers soon! Ideally that would start her on a trajectory of talking about her past more as she tries to access her powers despite never completing her training in them, and thus just having to kind of figure it out along the way (and maybe make it her own, with the influence of her friends?).
• Friends! She perceives herself as a perpetual outsider (even when she's provably not) so having people to talk to and hang out with is always great.

• I am not kidding about getting her a pair of Rollerblades. Now that we've got the media store in play I'm desperate to have her start engaging with modern things in silly ways so I'll definitely be looking for opportunities for that as well.
• She still hasn't technically told anyone she's a princess yet so I'm going to aim to have that come out in the near future. It adds context to the whole "sacrificed to a three-headed dragon" thing, for sure.
HANDWAVED CR:
• She can be found in the gardens a lot, and near the cemetery! She's a big fan of flowers, especially roses (not surprising) and will usually go where things are green and outdoorsy, versus the urban sprawl of downtown.
• She also hates "machines" (which to her fairytale sensibilities means things with exposed gears and cogs, steampunk-style) with blinding disgust so if anybody wants to meet her because she's throwing a brick at a grandfather clock or something, hit me up.

Just finished his Life's Quest of finding the creature that stole his grandmother's soul and murdered his entire village. Looks like a stoic badass, but can actually be quite expressive and has nowhere near enough ego to actually be a badass. Generally wavering on the borderline between stone cold serious and on the verge of tears. Very cranky and brusque but shows a lot of caring through his actions. Protective to a fault. Scared of a lot of things but willing to overcome his fear when given a good reason. Very powerful mage who is very upset about being nerfed. Believes that everyone has something to offer and doesn't think he knows everything.

ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: This is Genshin Impact's biggest tsundere, the Wanderer (which is not his name or a title btw)! He was once a bad guy, but then learned he was tricked, felt guilty, tried to erase himself from the world's history, and came back like this. Nowadays he's the right-hand man of the Dendro Archon and is trying to atone for the sins that no one remembers he committed! :D
He's got a mean attitude, but he's actually very nice if you ignore his words and focus on what he does. He likes to be helpful but pretends he doesn't care. He often uses his rudeness and insults to hide what he really means. Truly the epitome of a tsundere.

Anyway, for longer term plans, the Wanderer is thinking of two things at the moment. First, he's concerned about the fact that no one seems to have organized a concentrated effort to look into the city and their kidnappers and all that jazz. At some point, depending on how the next event and the player redeemed plot clues pan out, he might consider trying to start something if no one else has at that point! If I've missed someone doing something though, please let me know because I want to get into that!
The second thing is that the Wanderer is thinking about starting a garden to grow vegetables, fruits, etc. Food that would be 100% under their control and not at the whims of their kidnappers. This is because he's heard about the slowing replenishing times for food sources and he's worried it'll eventually dry up. But he knows nothing about gardening, so he's probably going to start by reading on gardening books from the media store and slowly learn from there. If there are any people interested in helping, let's talk!! :D
HANDWAVED CR: The Wanderer can be met anywhere at any time, because uhhh he hasn't actually claimed an apartment yet and likes to wander and explore during the night... so they might have been accidentally spooked by him at night hahaha also! ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: Former asshole city magistrate who pissed off the wrong people, got beaten nearly to death, and was then revived/turned into a vampire spawn by actual vampire Cazador Szarr. He spent 200 years as Cazador’s mind-controlled plaything and slave, but just recently got abducted by
aliensmindflayers who inadvertently freed him from Cazador’s control. So now he’s a partially-amnesiac asshole with a shitton of trauma and a burning desire for vengeance. Fun!As a vampire spawn, Astarion has to drink blood just like a real vampire, but without any of the cool powers :( He also can’t turn anyone else into a vampire, so no one has to worry about him being patient zero of an undead plague any time soon!

PLOTTING & PLANS: So, Astarion kinda-sorta spent a good chunk of last month getting psychically tortured by Vanessa Ives who sought to punish/reign him in after he fed on a catatonic Peter Graham. In doing so, she forced him to agree to several rules, including that he must ask her for permission before he bites anyone and he's not allowed to discuss their pact or the torture that went into it. This is going to, understandably, MAJORLY FREAK ASTARION OUT, because, to his mind, it proves that there are people here besides its rulers who are perfectly capable of just stepping into the role Cazador used to occupy, and the fact that Vanessa is just leaving him with a few rules to follow (which he hates, but still) is just a stroke of dumb luck that he can't really rely on long-term. Thus, this month he is going to be laser-focused on 1) identifying who in the city might have the power or other means to secure or at least protect his freedom and 2) seducing them so that they care about him enough to actually want to do that. To this end, Astarion will be volunteering as a host at Midnight's host club to better scope out influential people who might be susceptible to that kind of manipulation. I'd love to use this opportunity to develop some new and interesting CR, whether that be with potential seduction targets, coworkers, or other visitors to the club!
HANDWAVED CR: I'd prefer to thread out more in-depth interactions, but people are welcome to see Astarion around the host club when it opens, as well as browsing the media store or spending time in the poison gardens.
