GUIDELINES.

Welcome to the December OOC Introduction & CR Building post! Use the form below to introduce yourself as well as your character(s) to the others in the game. Note that top levels can be for ALL players, new and existing, regardless of when you were accepted into the game.

Please note that the code can be tailored to your needs - feel free to remove anything you don’t wish to fill out! For example, existing players who do not have a new character for this round are welcome to remove introductory sections if they don't wish to re-introduce themselves and their characters.

IC INFORMATION.
(PRINCESS) ROSELLA OF DAVENTRY
AGE: Canonically she's like days shy of being 18, which is a plot point.
CANON: King's Quest IV: The Perils of Rosella (1988)

ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER:

Outwardly: a very classic Blond Beautiful Fairytale Princess™. After you've met her for five whole seconds, however, you will quickly learn that she is in fact an extremely sweet, levelheaded, can-do royal with a strong sense of duty and enough determination to power a small country. Recently sacrificed to a three-headed dragon for the sake of her country (she escaped) and questing to find and obtain a magical fruit that could save her dying father (he's now fine), Rosella is more than a little bit of a fish out of water in a setting like the City.

However, she loves to read, climb trees, swim, and learn new things; of my roster of three, she's by far the most easily accessible, even for characters who are somewhat reluctant and hard to engage with, and she's always up for making new friends.

CR YOU WANT:

I think with Rosella I'd really like to work on some general friendships! She's kind of the character I've been tending to fall back on for charming, silly threads and lighthearted antics, which isn't to say that I don't want to play more serious things with her, but rather that the thought of slapping her into a pair of Rollerblades and having someone teach her to do sick rail slides along the subway station railings is more delightful to me with her than it is with my others.

Anyway she's the one I have the least amount of plans for thus far (she's also my newest character, so that's not altogether surprising), so really I'd like to just kind of wing it with her and see where her trajectory goes!

CR YOU DON'T WANT:
I'm not looking for longterm negative CR! Short-term conflict, bickering, IC rudeness, and so on are all fine! However, I'm not in the market for lasting enemies, active persistent dislike, repeated negative encounters, that sort of thing.

PLOTTING & PLANS:

• She has a top-level at prom, for people looking for an opportunity to encounter her!
• I am not kidding about getting her a pair of Rollerblades. Now that we've got the media store in play I'm desperate to have her start engaging with modern things in silly ways so I'll definitely be looking for opportunities for that as well.
• She still hasn't technically told anyone she's a princess yet so I'm going to aim to have that come out in the near future. It adds context to the whole "sacrificed to a three-headed dragon" thing, for sure.

HANDWAVED CR:

• If you were a prom attendee, you might've seen her stepping in to cover music when the sound system briefly went out! She was the one in the blue dress and Armand sang with her. An excellent save.
• She can be found in the gardens a lot, and near the cemetery! She's a big fan of flowers, especially roses (not surprising) and will usually go where things are green and outdoorsy, versus the urban sprawl of downtown.
• She also hates "machines" (which to her fairytale sensibilities means things with exposed gears and cogs, steampunk-style) with blinding disgust so if anybody wants to meet her because she's throwing a brick at a grandfather clock or something, hit me up.
• Pitch me something! I love handwaved CR.
