Welcome to the November OOC Introduction & CR Building post! Use the form below to introduce yourself as well as your character(s) to the others in the game. Note that top levels can be for ALL players, new and existing, regardless of when you were accepted into the game.
Please note that the code can be tailored to your needs - feel free to remove anything you don’t wish to fill out! For example, existing players who do not have a new character for this round are welcome to remove introductory sections if they don't wish to re-introduce themselves and their characters.

NAME & PRONOUNS: How should we refer to you, the player?

CANON POINT: For episodic media, include an episode or chapter number if not taking your character from the end. If your canon point is a major spoiler, please use a spoiler tag such as EXAMPLE.
ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: Give a brief introduction about your character, any notable abilities, etc.

ABOUT YOU: Hello! I've been out of the DWRP game for a while but I'm excited to dive back in. I work as a baker, so I keep very odd hours (I'm in EST but go to bed at 7 PM most nights... if not earlier). For hobbies, I enjoy cooking, reading, ttrpgs, and singing little mocking songs at my cat. For roleplay style, I'm comfortable with brackets or prose!

CR YOU WANT: Nikolai loves meeting all kinds of different people! I would love for him to make allies, find new friends, maybe spark up a friendly rivalry. He is charming and really likes people - but if there is someone he thoroughly fails to win over I'm not against a nemesis situation.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: I'll be honest, deeply bitter negative CR doesn't appeal to me. Apart from that, I'm open to pretty much whatever!
PLOTTING & PLANS: I got into the game about an hour ago so I have! No solid plans! Yet! Nikolai is used to knowing a lot of people, so his first goal is going to be making as many potentially useful connections as he possibly can.
HANDWAVED CR: None yet, since he's just arrived.
ANYTHING ELSE: I am playing the book version but I'm not above a few gifs from the adaptation, especially ones that capture Nikolai quite this well:

Transforming into a bloodthirsty monster at night and a good fighter? Pssh, it sounds like a match made in hell to me! Ethan here transforms into a werewolf during the full moon and loses all sense of reason. He’s lost his guns but can still wipe the floor with people with his fists. While he doesn’t have a lot of friends he does take care of the ones he’s made here, I think the CR could be interesting.

You've gotten here just before I had a chance to respond to your top level! It's been many years since I watched Penny Dreadful and I've forgotten most of the details but I do remember that I adored Ethan.
Even if they are both gunless, I bet Nikolai and Ethan can find SOME way to have a marksmanship challenge (which Ethan WILL win). They can enthuse about the finer points of firearm design
and transforming into monsters. They have so much in common that I think they'd be a fascinating pair to bounce off one another :D
