Welcome to the November OOC Introduction & CR Building post! Use the form below to introduce yourself as well as your character(s) to the others in the game. Note that top levels can be for ALL players, new and existing, regardless of when you were accepted into the game.
Please note that the code can be tailored to your needs - feel free to remove anything you don’t wish to fill out! For example, existing players who do not have a new character for this round are welcome to remove introductory sections if they don't wish to re-introduce themselves and their characters.

ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: (slaps heine) you can fit soooo much unresolved trauma in this bad boy
heine was a test tube baby in an underground lab, grown from specially-selected dna strands to become an incredibly powerful bioweapon! he heals quick, can't die, is stronger and faster than any average human, and has an implant in his spine that gives him a berserker split personality he refers to as "the dog." he does not play super well with others but is slowly working on it now that he's in a place where he doesn't have to live under the shadow of the wacko scientist who made him.
he does come with some content warnings in general: canon-typical violence and gore, suicidal ideation, mention of suicide attempts, unethical human experimentation, cruelty to children. i always try to warn when possible, but his permissions page linked below acts as an opt-out/in for those who would like more specifics.

CR YOU WANT: truly the limit does not exist! i have no concept of a media divide and am happy to fling heine at anyone and see what sticks. i especially love bubbly types who won't be put off by his reticence, people with significantly more emotional intelligence, people who he can bro around with... etc
CR YOU DON'T WANT: i don't particularly want negative cr that is negative for its own sake? this is ofc not to say i don't want negative cr, i think negative cr can be really fun and interesting when it has a good foundation!
PLOTTING & PLANS: the "learn about how to have feelings" arc has progressed into a "oh god i have feelings what do i do about them" arc, so he's sort of muddling his way through that experience! otherwise, always down for a little of this that and the other thing, i'll make anything happen fr fr fr
HANDWAVED CR: i'm always happy to handwave the introductory stuff and just assume our characters met somewhere! heine has been around since july and while he isn't an especially sociable dude, he does get out and about sometimes. we can super easily figure out a place he might have run into your character! recent haunts include:

AGE: 31 (hilarious story i thought he was 28 for a long time until finally it occurred to me that the events of ff7 take place two years before his canon point, then i gave him a headcanon birthday and it passed, so here we are)
CANON: final fantasy 7 (original version, not remake version)
CANON POINT: post-advent children
ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: reno is a turk, aka a member of the "administrative research" division of the shinra electric power company and antagonist of final fantasy 7. despite the hilarious on-paper title, the turks are actually the black ops division of shinra's paramilitary organization, so reno is some wacky combo of private security, hitman, spy, fixer, and general jack-of-all-trades. he has a lot of blood on his hands and also a lot of complicated feelings about it.

some general warnings for him include a whole lot of cursing and general vulgarity, refusal to feel any kind of shame about his flirting, occasional mentions of unethical science and experimentation, and maybe a little mass murder if the cr is deep enough. to stress though: it is super unlikely that he'll get into the actual specifics of any of the worse shit that shinra did unless the cr is like, off the charts.

PLOTTING & PLANS: i tried to copypaste this from last month's only to realize i fully left it blank last time so here we fuckin go i guess! reno is pretty nosy and also just intellectually interested in whatever the hell is going on here, so he's been reading up on everything and trying to put theories together. catch him in the secret apartment closet with a red-string idea board. otherwise he's basically just trying to keep busy to avoid boredom and the inevitable mental breakdown that happens after your world almost ends twice and you don't have a chance to decompress or process any of it.
HANDWAVED CR: again, always happy to handwave first meetings for ease! reno is fairly outgoing and also spends quite a bit of time just wandering around the city and sticking his nose into things, so it's really possible to have met him just about anywhere.
