Welcome to the November OOC Introduction & CR Building post! Use the form below to introduce yourself as well as your character(s) to the others in the game. Note that top levels can be for ALL players, new and existing, regardless of when you were accepted into the game.
Please note that the code can be tailored to your needs - feel free to remove anything you don’t wish to fill out! For example, existing players who do not have a new character for this round are welcome to remove introductory sections if they don't wish to re-introduce themselves and their characters.

ABOUT YOU: EST, full time media archivist and part time student and I am trying my hardest to keep up but. Gestures. Into watching other people play video games for me because I suck at them, folklore, ttrpgs, and increasingly random media.

CANON POINT: Modern day
ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: Shrine guardian kami turned youkai after the destruction of his temple who went a bit wild and terrorized Kyoto for a while until he was calmed down and went dormant after being forgotten. And then was accidentally resurrected a century or so later through the power of ~memes~. Yes he's a creepypasta now, no he doesn't want to talk about it. Mostly trying to figure out his place in the world and cautiously exploring the concept of self-definition. Very tired. Sometimes a cat, sometimes a person, always kind of awkward.
Also if you make him an offering (ie feed him), he is compelled to tell you a fortune. He has no fortune telling abilities. Hope you like magic 8 ball readings.

CR YOU WANT: Here for anything! Kai is generally extremely chill and has an extremely dry sense of humor so it takes a lot to rile him up. He's also extremely internet-literate if any non-modern folks need a crash course (do you need meme lessons? of course you do). Other nonhumans, folks who just want to pet a nice cat, anything goes. I'm mostly looking to widen (and strengthen) his cr pool as he works on his self-actualization adventure.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: It's all good.
PLOTTING & PLANS: After like six months, he finally has a place to live! Good job, buddy. Granted he had to be effectively kidnapped into it, but details. My goal is to get him to accept that he does actually want to settle in somewhere, because he is still technically a guardian spirit and he does feel a drive to have something to feel protective about.
HANDWAVED CR: He might not be sleeping on the street anymore, but he can still be found napping in random horizontal spaces because...well, cat. Otherwise he can be spotted in human or cat forms randomly wandering around and he has a soft spot for the sculpture garden in the park. Statuary solidarity.

CANON: Critical Role campaign 2
CANON POINT: Episode 24
ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: Molly is a blood hunter, basically someone magically altered to be able to hunt down and fight ghoulies and ghosties. Not that he knows anything about that, because he can't remember anything prior to climbing out of a shallow grave in the woods about two years ago. It's fine, don't worry about it. An absolute peacock, loud former circus performer and mostly fake fortune teller, Molly is here to have a good time and not think about consequences. Hedonistic flirt, absolute pain in the ass, surprisingly kind, and looking to make the world a better place one small act at a time.

CR YOU WANT: Give me everything. If you are sentient, Molly is going to flirt with you. He delights in folks that will play along with his various ridiculousnesses but is perfectly happy to annoy the shit out of people that won't. He's a button-pusher so negative CR is fine, but don't expect him to leave people alone if they make it clear they don't like him.
He can also be something of a mom friend, so anyone who needs someone to annoy them into feeling better is more than welcome.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: Nothing!
PLOTTING & PLANS: Nothing specific in mind, but some of the city's nonsense is starting to get to him and I'm hoping to nudge him towards the realization that he has never confronted, uh, any of his various traumas. Who needs to process things? I would like to get him actually involved with something but no serious ideas on what yet. He just needs enrichment before he starts getting bored, and no one wants that.
HANDWAVED CR: Can be found in public spots trying to entice people into getting tarot readings. He's also building his own little tent situation out in the woods because the apartment buildings are weird.
