Welcome to the November OOC Introduction & CR Building post! Use the form below to introduce yourself as well as your character(s) to the others in the game. Note that top levels can be for ALL players, new and existing, regardless of when you were accepted into the game.
Please note that the code can be tailored to your needs - feel free to remove anything you don’t wish to fill out! For example, existing players who do not have a new character for this round are welcome to remove introductory sections if they don't wish to re-introduce themselves and their characters.

ABOUT YOU: I'm EST and work a 9-5 job that doesn't allow for tagging during work hours, so most of my availability is nights and weekends! FFXIV is one of my current main fandoms but I also love and have played from stuff like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Yu Yu Hakusho, Ace Attorney, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, The Witcher, and Netflix Castlevania! I also love old school adventure games like anything by LucasArts or Sierra.

Right now I'm really enjoying people he can just kind of hang out with and unwind around, and thus explore what it's like to not be on the verge of a world-ending crisis among people he desperately needs to protect at any given moment! Casual flirters are always a winner because he's pretty charismatic and socially adept, but I'm really interested in having him forge friendships with other kind of damaged-but-surviving people so they can explore their backstory trauma together.
CR YOU DON'T WANT:
I'm not looking for longterm negative CR! Short-term conflict, bickering, IC rudeness, and so on are all fine! However, I'm not in the market for lasting enemies, active persistent dislike, repeated negative encounters, that sort of thing.
PLOTTING & PLANS:
His birthday was yesterday (which I think exactly two people were aware of) and he has a car now. He and Heine have been talking about setting up a City baseball team which is rich because neither one of them know how to play baseball. He's largely just vibing while I look for ways to have him engage with his personal hangups and tragic backstory elements, so if you're interested in that, let me know!
HANDWAVED CR:
He hangs out at the university a lot, making use of their athletic facilities and also just snooping around. Spends a lot of time swimming or working out, particularly when he's stressed. You can also often encounter him picking up food from a variety of the different restaurants around, or doing parkour around the City in general.

People keep trying to convince her to have self-esteem above and beyond just the value inherent in her skillset and she keeps yelling HAHA PARKOUR and trying to serpentine away from it. I would love to develop CR with fellow professionals who take their careers seriously or people she might eventually warm up to and befriend to Become Part Of A Social Circle. Ghost is someone who's used to perceiving herself as being a separate objective observer of...life, really, and my long-term goal with her is to have her break that mindset and perceive herself as actually being a part of it.

Ghost and Kaveh are working on putting together a black-tie event set to take place sometime in early December because I was like you know what this City needs? Prom. I'd love to do some IC networking to garner support for this (more details forthcoming, likely in a separate post of their own), because she really just needs a Project to be working on at all times.
HANDWAVED CR:
Ghost is addicted to caffeine and can almost always be randomly encountered at a place that dispenses it. She also writes constantly and has been leaving instructions to common everyday things like "how to work the public access microwave" or "the rules of basketball" or "how to draw a hopscotch board with this box of chalk" taped to stuff around the City. She's a helper.

princess rosella | king's quest iv
AGE: Canonically she's like days shy of being 18, which is a plot point.

CR YOU WANT:
Really, just about anything! Half the fun of playing someone who is Very Much A Fairytale Princess™ is getting to write someone having completely serious fairytale takes about things for which fairytale logic makes absolutely no sense, and vice versa. She does great with contemporary characters when they're willing to play along with her not always understanding how a toaster works, and she assimilates pretty easily with people from fantasy and horror canons as well. She's also great for shitty people who want social cover because she's not very good at clocking someone who is subtly evil or corrupt — generally speaking, if someone is nice to her, she's going to assume they're a nice person through and through. Subtlety is not a characteristic of the wicked in King's Quest.

Longterm, I want to get some of her magical items unlocked so she can do things like shoot people with Cupid's arrow and make them fall in love with each other by mistake, or slap her frog crown onto them and turn them temporarily into frogs. She also has a fairly recent post up where she reveals that Shakespeare is her favorite author, and apparently we might be getting a theater production together? Where my actors at.
HANDWAVED CR:
She can be found in the gardens a lot, and near the cemetery! She's a big fan of flowers, especially roses (not surprising) and will usually go where things are green and outdoorsy, versus the urban sprawl of downtown. She also hates "machines" (which to her fairytale sensibilities means things with exposed gears and cogs, steampunk-style) with blinding disgust so if anybody wants to meet her because she's throwing a brick at a grandfather clock or something, hit me up.

Astarion is going to spend the rest of this month being psychically tortured by Vanessa Ives (more on that in his plotting comment here), so maybe a darker plot than Rosella is used to, but if it's something you might want her to get involved with, lmk!

Rosella is legitimately one of my favorite characters ever, and she works great when she has people she can bounce off of and very earnestly talk about the most batshit-sounding things in complete seriousness. The Necronomicon exists in her world and there are at least three Cthulhu references despite the fact that you also pick flowers to give to a mermaid so she'll sing up a seahorse for you. Nothing sustains me more than when she gets done talking about how much she likes playing the flute or climbing trees and then mentions that one time she was in possession of Pandora's Box for a not-insignificant period of time, which she found after robbing five graves while being chased by zombies. I love King's Quest so much.
