Welcome to the November OOC Introduction & CR Building post! Use the form below to introduce yourself as well as your character(s) to the others in the game. Note that top levels can be for ALL players, new and existing, regardless of when you were accepted into the game.
Please note that the code can be tailored to your needs - feel free to remove anything you don’t wish to fill out! For example, existing players who do not have a new character for this round are welcome to remove introductory sections if they don't wish to re-introduce themselves and their characters.

ABOUT YOU: 34 yo Portuguese cis-woman living in Ireland (so I'm GMT). I'm an animal manager/senior zookeeper at a Reptile Zoo, also have a Veterinarian Doctor degree but I don't use it bc I don't like being a vet. CHARACTERS: Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul

CANON: Tokyo Ghoul
CANON POINT: Chapter 52, when he is knocked unconscious and kidnapped
ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: "Rather than a person who hurts others, become the person getting hurt. A kind person finds happiness in just that". This is what kaneki learned from his mother and he follows this. He is incredibly kind, gentle, he is shy and also awkward, very quiet and doesn't speak his mind. Tends to be selfless, doesn't have much confidence in himself and sees himself as weak, but even so he is trying hard to become stronger in order to protect the ones he loves. AND THEN HE WAS TURNED INTO A GHOUL who are cannibal people from kaneki's canon. They can only consume humans and look that... sucks a lot. Kaneki hates that ghoul part, but above all, he is SCARED of the ghoul part. He has to balance the fact that he is now forced to do something terrible and goes against what his mother taught him, and the fact that ghouls aren't the monsters he was also taught to believe. Though some still are and everything is a mess. Kaneki's life is full of suffering.

CONTENT WARNING: Kaneki comes with a lot of content warnings: cannibalism, body horror, blood, and mentions of emotional and physical abuse, including child abuse and medical experimentation. Bullying may be mentioned in rare instances. Trauma, PTSD, self-harm and self-hatred can be mentioned and implied from tags.
CR YOU WANT/PLOTTING & PLANS: Basically, kaneki has a lot of trauma going on and he is a sad boy who tries his hardest to be kind and gentle towards e v e r y o n e. He is very VERY lonely too, and while he has a hard time connecting to other people, he just wants to be loved. So honestly, FRIENDS. CR. PARENTAL FIGURES. CONNECTION. I'm open to positive and negative cr, and look even people who secretly hate him that's cool too! He will keep it a secret that he likes to munch on people, but totes up for that be found out eventually.
✔ Non humans, monsters, and alike. Negative or positive, it's all good.
✔ Monster hunters, people who'd not like to know there is a cannibal around GUESS WHAT MY ARMS ARE OPEN (kaneki's not so much )= )
✔ Mentors, parental figures, FAMILY. oh boy do you know how desperate kaneki is for those please adopt him
✔ FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC even when your friend eats people so basically be his friend pls
✔ Manipulation~ basically Kaneki is way too fucking nice and while that's!! great!! it also means there is a big chance here to manipulate this boy
✔ Training, because kaneki really wants to get stronger and get a hold of his powers better
✔ Someone to get him out of his shell. Look, I admit, it will be hard, he is a wallflower, but that of course means he needs someone to push him around and get him to do silly stuff
✔ He also runs a Story club, if anyone would like to share stories with him, he will write them down. They meet probably once a week!
✔ Shipping is possible! I'm also cool with just crushes without anything actually happening, I'm a sucker for Kaneki being awkward around pretty people!
✔ If anyone wants to find out what kaneki is, please let me know! Kaneki is very very private about it, very scared, but I'm open to people finding out - either in a horrific way, or in simple easy ways too.

jk okay though, I saw that you thought it'd be hilarious if Kaneki gets awkward around pretty people, and this boy here, the Wanderer, is canonically beautiful (like it gets stated multiple times!!) so it'd be funny if they met! And yeah, the Wanderer is kind of rude, but he's also a lot nicer than he appears to be, and would probably try to help Kaneki in his own awkward way.
