GUIDELINES.

Welcome to the new October OOC Introduction & CR Building post! Use the form below to introduce yourself as well as your character(s) to the others in the game. Note that top levels can be for ALL players, new and existing, regardless of when you were accepted into the game.

Existing players who do not have a new character for this round are welcome to tailor the code to suit their needs if they don't wish to re-introduce themselves and their characters.

I'M SO GLAD HE APPED and also laughing because like 99% of everybody Rosella has met since she landed on the TDM is vampires. And she has not clocked any of them. I love her.

Anyway I can't tell you how thrilled I was with our TDM thread and Astarion being like "my god she's as oblivious as a brick but Sweet And Blonde™ maybe I can use this" because some of my favorite CR with Rosella has historically been with people whose shitty sides she just absolutely does not register because they're nice and polite, specifically, to her. I would love to keep things going in-game if you're interested!

Vampires actually do exist in her canon (her dad canonically kills Count Dracula — long story) and she's kind of primed to be afraid of Dark Things And The Undead, but that's also why I love having her develop relationships with people in that situation and having to challenge her worldviews in that way. She's also fresh off an adventure where an extremely shitty and hyperpowerful evil entity took her captive and forced her to run errands to facilitate said evil entity gaining ultimate power and ruling the world as its dark lord (on penalty of torture and death) so like. From what I understand of Astarion, they might have some things in common!

AAAA YES, YOU'RE IN!! I've been totally loving our TDM thread, too, and would be delighted to continue their CR in-game. Astarion's just so pleased he's found such an easy, potentially useful mark (and is also low-key basking in being spoken to like a noble again after 200 years of enslavement).

I'd be happy to have Astarion continue worming his way into her circle, though fair warning, he's not actually that great at hiding his shitty side long-term. The truth is, the guy's got a lot of Bad Opinions and only 10 CHA, so he's bound to say something wack sooner or later :`) But hey, he's also quite readily influenced by his environment and the people in it, so maybe Rosella could be a positive influence on him? Or he could be a bad influence on her :D Or both!

Either way, I can't wait to see what happens next with these two!

Well for one thing she is currently hilariously dead on the network and no one has figured out how to wake her up yet, if that's relevant to Astarion's interests —

But yes! I think there's a very good chance of her being a positive influence long-term because she's one of those people whose resilience and optimism really can't be broken no matter how bad things get, but on the flip side of things she could really stand to be a little more cynical which I think she'd pick up from him after a while too!

She's definitely not JUST sweet and angelic, either, she has a bit of an attitude and thinks rude things about people she doesn't like, etc. She just hides it well because manners, but she'd probably think some of Astarion's disses are pretty funny honestly.
