ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER:
Despite first appearances (she is a very classic Blond Beautiful Fairytale Princess™ at first glance), Rosella is also the star of the first computer adventure game to feature a female protagonist, and comes with all the protagonist chops that go with it. After voluntarily allowing herself to be sacrificed to a three-headed dragon for the sake of saving her kingdom (which she narrowly escapes, thanks to a timely arrival from her long-lost twin brother Alexander), Rosella gets whisked off on her own 24-hour nonstop adventure running around the faraway land of Tamir trying to find a magical fruit with the power to save her father's life. In the process, she also gets caught up in a power struggle between the good queen of the fairies, Genesta, and an evil fairy named Lolotte who has stolen Genesta's powers and wants to use them to rule the world.
King's Quest is a series chock-full of blatant fairytale nods, featuring Rosella doing things like befriending the Seven Dwarves, getting swallowed by a whale like Pinocchio, stealing a hen that lays golden eggs from an ogre, and uh...coming into possession of Pandora's Box. Though she is absolutely sweet, kindhearted, and generally optimistic, she's far from a pampered, incapable royal — she's also incredibly resilient, has a pun-filled sense of humor, and occasionally thinks really mean things about people who are rude to her.
★ I'm still undecided on Rosella's costume, specifically, but I'm hoping to come up with something that will prompt her to be a little bit outgoing and meet some people. Possibly something like Aphrodite? She could run around aggressively shipping people and flirting with them, which I think would be hilarious.
★ Alucard will evidently be sticking to her like glue so if you're looking for a way to meet both of them, have you considered attacking her in the haunted house? Fair warning he might bite your face off IDK. She also has a magic scarab that under normal circumstances would provide her a ward against the undead, and she is NOT aware that it's currently nerfed, so she is going to be completely oblivious to the dangers of this place, god bless.
★ Again, I really want her to get a letterman jacket so she'll be making it all the way through the haunted house! She'll also absolutely be finding some extremely stupid King's Quest inventory in the rooms because this is my CHANCE to have her develop pocket contents that would make you weep.
★ Please dance with her at the party. She would like nothing more. She's also a bit of a fish out of water so if someone would like to take on the hilarious challenge of explaining normal contemporary things to her, let me know.
