OOC INFORMATION.
NAME: Asher
CONTACT: [plurk.com profile] asherdashery or PM this journal
ABOUT YOU: Hello! I'm a newly graduated rabbi, he/him/his, happy to be back in a DWRP game after a longish dry spell. I operate on Eastern Time and tend to do a lot of my tags early in the morning/during the work day. Network tags and short bracket-text action threads are easier for me to get to quickly, so those tend to move faster, but I'm flexible and happy to work with whatever y'all are comfy with.

IC INFORMATION.
BROOK
AGE: ~118.
CANON: I'm the Grim Reaper
CANON POINT: Between Episodes 127 and 133

ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: Brook is a human soul in a flesh puppet body that also happens to serve as a demon container. After his death, Satan (yes, that Satan) sent him back to Earth with a mission: kill one sinner a day, every day, for eternity. A century down the line, he's gotten pretty used to it. Y'know. It's whatever.

His theme color is magenta and his demon is rabbit-shaped. How cute! Also, he can manifest demon energy around his hands and feet and punch you to death. Gap moe~eeee!

USEFUL LINKS: Permissions (DEFINITELY worth a look, ItGR is full of triggers and I have an opt-out there) / Inbox / Application

EVENT PLOTTING:

While he's gotten a few warnings to watch out from characters who have been here longer, Brook isn't experienced enough to question the mild curiosity the party flyers evoke. He'll definitely want to check it out. (Probably not alone--people he's met in person, want to buddy up?) That said, it's not like he's going to put effort into dressing himself up, he just wants to check it out. That means the City gets to decide his costume for him. So, friends, I'm TAKING VOTES/SUGGESTIONS FOR BUNNY-THEMED COSTUMES FOR BROOK!

My own ideas include but are not limited to:
- Alice in Wonderland's White Rabbit (duh) or March Hare
- Sailor Moon or Chibi-Usa, as gender presentation is no object
- Usagi Yojimbo
- Just a straight-up, classic bunny onesie
- Bugs Bunny, Babs, Buster, Lola, or any other Looney Tunes-type cartoon rabbit
- A pooka? SPOOKY BUNNY
- The Easter Bunny
- SUGGEST YOUR OWN!

The only idea I'm nixing from the start is a Playboy Bunny costume, because I think 1) he'd get cold :( and 2) he'd find it really difficult to move around in. The guy doesn't even wear shoes, he can't handle heels of any significant height. And at least give him a skirt to cover his bony hips, geez.

The ability to move is gonna be important, because I want Brook to be available to help people get through the 2nd floor of the haunted house. Want one of those letterman jackets, but aren't sure your character can handle the ghosts? Want to BE a ghost but don't want your character to kill anyone or die for it? Brook's your guy. He ain't afraid to punch a ghost and he won't feel guilty for hurting or killing anyone, either, but with his current nerfing, the encounter doesn't have to end in death.

* A note: If your character's strong enough to pin Brook or otherwise make him feel helpless, that might trigger a more extreme response. I'm not, like, LOOKING for him to kill anyone in this event, but if that's something you want, I can oblige!

So yeah! Need a (demon-strengthened) hand or a(n also demon-strengthened) boot to the head? Let me know!

CONTENT WARNING: Again, please check Brook's permissions page for a list of content that might come up with him. In the context of this event, I imagine he might end up talking casually about murder, dismemberment, and/or the inherent body horror of housing a demon in his body.
